I mean, those female connections, they really clamp down and then the male is stuck.

As for our current connections, we don't have any. We do everything by lifting a large pot of water or wort and pouring it where we need it to go. When we do use a siphon, that is just some small tubing with a racking cane.

While it isn't too heavy to do 5 gallon batches (what we have done so far), we are looking at moving to 10 gallon batches and that would be much harder to lift with out spilling/burning/hurting/breaking something.Homebrewing Monkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02471965239702573613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6788666553367910067.post-19459129769729763062012-02-06T22:11:28.795-05:002012-02-06T22:11:28.795-05:00Perhaps one day you can teach Jonah about the bird...Perhaps one day you can teach Jonah about the birds and the bees by showing him this system of connectors.

I may have missed your mentioning this elsewhere, but what type of connectors had you been using prior to these? These new connectors look great, by the way, and I'm sure you will love working with them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6788666553367910067.post-71374832296878614472012-02-05T10:01:56.194-05:002012-02-05T10:01:56.194-05:00Any time you want to move them is fine with me :)Any time you want to move them is fine with me :)Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08161634156715423491noreply@blogger.com
